Who We Are

Next Level Atelier is a live, online 12-week coaching program.

Participants meet weekly for instructor-led group sessions held live via Zoom, combining teaching, guided discussion, and practical integration. In addition to group sessions, artists receive a private 30-minute one-on-one coaching session every four weeks.

The program brings together creative development and practical strategy - covering everything from content creation and social media engagement to communicating your story, navigating galleries and representation, understanding sales, and exploring residencies and long-term growth opportunities. Artists learn how to speak about their work with clarity, build a digital presence that reflects their voice, and engage meaningfully with collectors, collaborators, and institutions.

Meet Your Instructor

Ken Forbes is a professional visual artist whose work explores the human experience through material, story, and connection. Often incorporating natural elements such as coffee and cacao, his practice bridges process, ritual, and meaning.

For over a decade, Ken has developed a sustainable career as an artist, working full-time for several years while navigating exhibitions, residencies, galleries, and sales at a professional level. His work has been shown internationally, including residencies in Normandy, France and Mexico City, Mexico, and at major art fairs such as New York Art Expo and Miami Art Basel. He has collaborated with organizations including Bitcoin, held a residency at Roy Liechtenstein’s former studio, and operated a studio gallery in Tribeca, Manhattan, across from City Hall.

Through Next Level Atelier, Ken distills the insights, frameworks and professional practices gained throughout his career into a clear, supportive program for artists seeking growth. His approach blends creative discipline with practical strategy, helping artists build clarity, confidence, and long-term sustainability in both their work and their lives.
